The Plymouth JV team travelled to Warsaw and defeated the Tigers by a score of 11-1. The Pilgrims jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Noah Pesak got things going with two outs in the top of the first inning, plating two on a double. After adding two more in the second, and three in the third, the Pilgrims put the game out of reach with a four run fourth inning. Pesak had two doubles and 4 RBI on the day, and Cole Filson added three hits and 3 RBI’s of his own. Ezra Winkle threw all 5 innings on the hill for the win. The win pushed the Pilgrims to 11-2 on the year and 9-1 in conference play. They are back at it Wednesday as they travel to Goshen.
