Monday night the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety awarded the quote for the cemetery’s mini excavation. Mike Collins from the cemetery department recommended the quote from Bobcat of Warsaw for $62,858.92. Collins noted that the piece of equipment is in this year’s budget at $63,000.
The Board of Works also accepted the recommendation of Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson to contract with Kokosing Industries from Fredericktown Ohio for the guaranteed savings construction project for the major improvement project at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Midwestern Engineers were given approval to engage Kokosing and begin the negotiation process to secure firm pricing for the project.
Police Chief Dave Bacon was given approval to seek quotes for three squad cars which are in this year’s budget. Bacon said he plans to purchase one SUV and 2 sedans.
