Angie Johnson Birchmeier, Deputy Clerk Treasurer for the City of Plymouth Clerk Treasurer’s Office, declared her candidacy for Marshall County Treasurer Republican Primary today. A lifelong Marshall County resident, Johnson Birchmeier has worked at the City Clerk Treasurer’s Office for over 19 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University at South Bend. Johnson Birchmeier and her husband, Jeff, live in rural Plymouth where they raise their family.

As Deputy Clerk Treasurer for the City of Plymouth Clerk Treasurer’s Office, I have the qualifications, knowledge and skill set to continue to run an efficient Marshall County Treasurer’s Office. I understand the intricacies and responsibilities of working with multimillion dollar financials and will be a good steward of taxpayer funds. I look forward to serving the taxpayers of Marshall County with fiscal responsibility, strong leadership, courtesy and to continue making Marshall County a wonderful place to work, live and raise a family.”
