The Plymouth girls golf team defeated Tippecanoe Valley Wednesday evening in a makeup dual match from Monday’s washout 201-228. The Plymouth JV also defeated TV 232-274.
Lauren Kolter took Medalist honors with a 46. Our girls have improved within their rounds the last couple matches. As a team we threw out a 53, both Nicole Horvath and Julia Marohn carded 53’s. Brittney Klotz fired a 52. Both sophomores Julia and Brittney continued their improvement finishing a mere shot off their personal best nine hole score. Senior Katie Johnson fired a 50 to contribute to our team scoring.
Tonight’s two wins improve the Varsity to 3-2 in nine hole matches this season; 2-1 on the JV side. The Varsity is next in action Saturday morning at Round Barn Golf Club in the Rochester Invitational.
