Senior night at Pretty Lake Golf Club featured a hotly contested duel between the host Plymouth Pilgrims and the South Bend St Joe Indians.  The JV contest went to the host Pilgrims who remained undefeated on the season.  The Varsity contest was as close as possible with the Indians coming out on top.

Medalist honors went to St Joe’s Michael Anthony with a fine 1 under par 35.  This was the second nine hole match in as many weeks where we broke into the 150’s an encouraging sign with Sectional over a week away.  Junior Micah Calhoun lead the team with a 38.  Junior Hudson Yoder suffered a quadruple bogey on 17 and still managed a 39.  Junior Grant Clady fired a very respectable 40.
Tonight we honored our seniors: Colin Caine, Quentin Cupka, and Curtis Smith.  Both Curtis and Quentin are four year members of our program.  Curtis battled all night and finished with a 49.  Colin moved in prior to his Junior season and has improved steadily all year, tonight he shot 42.  The highlight of the night was Quentin.  Q scrambled alongside his fellow seniors, in their final match at Pretty Lake.  Each guy will be missed next year!
Both squads are back in action, weather permitting, Thursday evening at the Academy Course in Culver vs Penn and host CMA.
