Saturday’s beautiful weather lead to some great scoring for the Plymouth Varsity at Maplecrest CC in Goshen and JV at Round Barn in Rochester.  Attached results for both tournaments.

The Varsity opened their season finishing runner-up out of 13 schools with a 329.  Micah Calhoun lead the Pilgrims with a personal best 75.  Micah tied for Medalist but was edged out after a hard fought two playoff holes.  Career rounds we’re also put forth by senior Colin Caine 86 and junior Trevor Danielson 87.  Junior Hudson Yoder fired a steady 82 – T10th overall.  Curtis Smith contributed a 95.  In a field featuring several NLC foes this was our second consecutive runner-up finish; our last win coming in 2014.
The JV also opened their season and brought home the hardware – finishing 1st out of 9 teams with a 367.  Junior Dylan Johnson lead the Pilgrims with an 87 good for 2nd, fellow classmate Grant Clady fired an 89 finishing 3rd, freshman Chapman Yoder 93 – T8, freshman Bryce Carmichael 98 – T15, freshman Caleb Gawronski 104, junior Tyler Newton 106, freshman Keeten Rippy 136.
Both squads are back in action Tuesday at Sprig-O-Mint where they face off with host Bremen and Mishawaka Marian starting at 4:30pm.  First home match of the season is Thursdaystarting at 5pm at Pretty Lake Golf Club vs Adams, Triton, and CMA.
