PHS_robotics_2016Three of the Plymouth High School Robotics Teams qualified to compete at the CREATE U.S. Open Robotics Championship on Thursday thru Saturday April 7th-9th, at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

PHS Team 586A finished the qualifying matches in 24th place with a 6 and 4 record. They made it into the tournament, but ended their winning streak during the competition’s quarterfinals.

PHS Team 586B finished the qualifying matches of the competition in 16th place with a 7 and 2 record. They also moved on to compete further, but they too ended their run in the competition’s quarterfinals.

As for PHS Team 586G, they finished the qualifying matches in 79th place with a 1 and 9 record.

The robotics season is not quite over for Plymouth High School yet. PHS Team 586A will be making their way to Louisville, Kentucky to compete in the 2016 VEX Worlds competition on April 20 thru the 24th.

VEX Worlds will include top teams from around the world. Teams played the game Nothing but Net during the 2015-16 season.
