Police HandcuffsMaking a false report landed a Plymouth man in the Marshall County Jail.

Monday evening about 10:30 Plymouth Police were dispatched to 881 Broadway for the report of a man threatening his neighbor with a hammer and a false report of a meth lab in the presence of children.

City Police responded to apartment D and tried to speak with the complainant, 45 year old Michael Flagg. Flagg refused to answer the door and instead of speaking to officer simply chose to yell obscenities at them. After obtaining a warrant Plymouth Police again attempted to make contact and Flagg responded in the same manner.

Officer had to force entry into the apartment by breaking in the door.

Michael Flagg was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Intimidation with a deadly weapon, disorderly conduct, false reporting and possession of marijuana. He was held on a $1,000 and $3,000 cash bond.
