Thursday morning’s slippery roads keep area police departments busy.
An officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to State Road 331, south of 6th Road at 4:15 a.m. for a single vehicle crash.
28 year old David J. Heineman Jr. of Plymouth was southbound on S.R. 331 in a 2006 Ford F250 when his truck slid off the roadway and rolled over at least once, coming to rest on its top.
Heineman was treated at the scene by Bremen EMS and then transported from the scene by a friend to Bremen Community Hospital.
The police report indicates that road conditions at the time were “slick and icy.”
This was one of several collisions that were investigated in the Bremen area during the early morning.
