Craft_Brew_FestivalMonday evening the Plymouth Park Board approved the request of Tony Gamble and Freedom Park for a brand-new fundraiser.

Gamble and his committee are planning a “Craft Brew Festival” on June 25th from 4 until 9 p.m. at River Park Square.

With the park board’s unanimous approval to use River Park Square, planning can jump into full force.  Gamble said they hope to have 30 breweries that will offer 2 to 3 ounce tastings to tickets guests.  The committee anticipates 1,000 participants and will not only have craft beer tasting but live music and a food court with local food vendors.

When asked about security by park board member Laura Man, it was stated that the event will be fenced-in with two access points that will have merit police officers at the gate along with a couple officers walking the event.

Gamble said they are thinking of unlimited tastes and tickets would be $40 or $60 for a VIP although nothing if confirmed yet.

Funds raised from the Craft Brew Festival on June 25th will help fund the next phase of Freedom Park, the all inclusive playground in Packard Woods.
