MCEDC_Purdue_1In the interest of building awareness of their services in Marshall County, the Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) is collaborating with the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation to host an informational event for Marshall County businesses held at Bremen Town Hall on May 12th. There, Marshall County businesses learned about all that the Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership has to offer such as, faculty assistance programs, onsite training and implementation, and their Defense Manufacturing Assistance Program.

MCEDC_Purdue_2The Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership identifies areas of improvement and streamlines processes by leveraging the university’s resources of professional experts, faculty, and students. The organization serves more than 500 companies annually by implementing continuous improvement principles in the areas of productivity, growth and technology. They work with businesses across Indiana such as Zentis, Southwire, RCB Bearing, and Bremen Castings. Purdue MEP has helped their clients collectively achieve over $1.3 billion of economic impact in Indiana since 2005.
