The 8 th Grade Lincoln Red Storm football team traveled to Bremen on Tuesday to kick off the
start of their season. The Red Storm’s defense allowed a big run early in the game but held
them to just 8 points throughout the first half. The Red Storm’s lone touchdown was scored by
Donny Poczik late in the 3 rd quarter. The Lion’s broke through for another long run late in the
game to bring the score to 6 to 14. In a hard fought battle on both sides of the ball, the team
suffered their first loss. The Red Storm will look to rebound when they face LaPorte Boston at
home on Wednesday, September 7 th at 5:30pm.
The 7th grade Lincoln football team kicked off their season against Bremen last night. Lincoln struggled defensively and allowed 3 touchdowns. Offensively the Red Storm was able to move the ball with Devante Garcia and Jake Duffin. Duffin was able to break free for two large touchdown runs. Final score Bremen 24 Lincoln 12.
