The seventh-grade a teamm defeated the Argos Lady Dragons Wednesday night at home. The girls jumped out to an early lead that continued well throughout the game. The Lady Red Storm led by 23 going to into the second half. It was the first time the girls saw a full court press this season, and, although it took a possession or two to relax into it, the girls handled it very well. Miranda German had a season high 5 rebounds and a beautiful assist early on to Olivia Horvath. Eight of the girls got on the board last night including eight from Lindsay Janus, seven from Tallulah Gault and Horvath. Madison Stiles, Mackenzie DeJarnatt, German, Jenna Abberger, and Mia Wojcik also contributed to the 25-13 point victory.
The girls continue their undefeated season with their first away game next Monday, February 1 at Rochester.
