The seventh-grade A girls basketball team continued their undefeated season Tuesday night against a tough Tippy Valley team. The girls were well matched height wise and they struggled with it for much of the first half. At half time Lincoln had a lead but a very small three point lead. The girls were able to keep their emotions on the bench and played the second half in the style that we are used to playing. The Lady Red Storm was able to outscore the Lady Vikings 20 to 6 in the second half. Most of the team got on the board but Tallulah Gault’s 10 points and Mia Wojcik’s 7 led the team in the scoring column. Madison Stiles contributed 4 steals to the 35-18 victory.

The seventh-grade  B team avenged their tournament loss to the Lady Vikings Tuesday night. The game was close from tip off to the final buzzer. When the buzzer sounded, Lincoln was on top 21-18. Coach Lile saw many improvements on the team, going from forced passes and shots to seeing the defense and getting a few big steals. Mia Wojcik had 4 steals and Susie McFarland had 2. Mia also led the team in scoring with eight points and Jenna Abberger added six points. With one second left, Jenna attempted a buzzer beater, but it just didn’t fall. Both teams are back in action Thursday night at home.
