The Lincoln Junior High 8th Grade Boys Basketball team hosted Culver on Thursday night. Every player for Lincoln scored in a 47-18 win for the Red Storm. Lincoln had 12 steals and shot 50 percent on the game with 6 of 11 from the three point line. Joe Barron scored 10 points and Tolman Mills scored 9 points in the contest. Lincoln is now 12-6 on the year and will travel to Warsaw Edgewood on Tuesday to try to avenge a loss from earlier this season.
In the B game Culver outscored the Red Storm 38-20. Konnor Ray scored 6 points and Andy Rostron scored 4 points in the loss. The B team finishes up their year with a 7-4 record.
The Lincoln Red Storm A Team travelled to Culver on Thursday night and came away with a convincing 46-12 victory over the host Cavaliers Daniel Bacon led the way with 15 points and Jake Reichard chipped in 12 for the Red Storm. Lincoln heads into the final game of the regular season with a record of 16-2 and looks to avenge one of their two defeats next Tuesday at Warsaw Edgewood.
The Lincoln Red Storm B Team finished their season on a strong note with an equally convincing 41-10 victory over the Culver Cavaliers. Hayden Hopple’s 18 points and Teddy Pratt’s 14 points led the charge for Lincoln. The B team finishes with a record of 5-6 on the season.
