The Lincoln Junior High 8th Grade Boys Basketball team was back in action on Tuesday. The Red Storm played host to the Knox Redskins.  Plymouth trailed at halftime 15-19, but had a big third quarter to take the lead for the rest of the game.  Kendall Himes scored 12 points with Dane Funston and Joe Barron scoring 6 points each in a 39-34 victory for the Red Storm.

In the B game the Red Storm jumped out to an early lead and kept extending it throughout the game in a 42-12 win over the Redskins.  Bo Meadors scored 10 points, Andy Rostron scored 9, and Hugh Smith scored 8 points in the game.

Lincoln will host Laporte Kesling on Thursday.
The Lincoln Red Storm 7th grade A Team won a hard fought battle on the road against the Knox Redskins on Tuesday night.  The Red Storm came away with a 41-35 victory after holding off a feisty comeback from the home team.  Lincoln was led by Jake Reichard 15 points and Daniel Bacon with 14 points.  Ivan Winkle chipped in 6 points to support the cause.  Tuesday night’s win pushes the A Team record to 14-2 on the season.

The Lincoln Red Storm 7th grade B Team lost a heartbreaker to the Knox Redskins in a high scoring contest on the road Tuesday night.  The Redskins won 38-33 after trailing by as many as 12 points in the first half.  The Red Storm fought hard but couldn’t stop the Redskins offense in the second half.  Lincoln was led by Hayden Hopple and Matthew Janus with 8 points.  Teddy Pratt and Jaret Brown scored 5 points and Brown provided stifling full-court pressure defense for the Red Storm.  The B Team record is now 4- 2.
