The girls basketball teams traveled to LaVille for a shootout this weekend. The 7th grade left with 2 more wins under their belts. In the first game, the girls defeated a tough LaSalle team 36-31 in overtime. The crowd was worked up, the other team was worked up, but the girls kept their cool and it paid off. Olivia Horvath was lead scorer with 11, Emma Cook had 8, Mackenzie DeJarnatt had 7, Maddison Stiles was a perfect 6 for 6 at the free throw line. In the second game, Lincoln beat Pioneer 31-25. Mackenzie was top scorer with 9 followed by Tallulah Gault with 8. The girls will face Edgewood in a conference battle on Tuesday night.
