Last night the Lincoln Redstorm hosted their first home game of the year. They faced off against a very talented New Prairie team. After coming back from an 8 point deficit to tie up the game and take the lead the ladies eventually fell 24-25 in the first game. The second got off to a slow start and lost 16-25. There were improvements, serving runs, long volleys, and great volleyball even though we suffered a loss. The ladies are in action again tonight against LaVille. The 7th grade starts at 5:00pm and the 8th grade plays right afterwards. Come on out and support the ladies before the long holiday weekend!
Last night the 7th grade volleyball team fell short and lost to New Prairie in two games. New Prairie came out strong in both games and their intensity and teamwork throughout the match was unmatched by our girls. The team lost the first game 25-17 and lost the second game 25-4. Although it was a disappointing and tough loss, it showed the team their weak spots and will give them something to work on in upcoming games and practices. The 7th grade volleyball team will play again tonight at home against Laville.
