The 6th Grade Riverside Boys A team was in action last night at Wawasee. The Rockets came out shooting hot in the first quarter and took an early 15-4 lead. Once they cooled off, Wawasee was able to battle back some, but the Rockets kept the intensity up and was able to come away with a 32-17 victory. The Rockets were lead in scoring by Davis Wray with 11 points. Roman Snedeker added 7, Easton Strain had 6, Nolan Bales chipped in 4 points, and Brock Jenson and Trey Hall each had 2. Timmy Wakeland did not score, but he was a man on a mission, getting steals and looking up to hit the outlet pass for open layups. Another game of ball movement and balance scoring by the Rockets. They will finish out the semesterĀ next Tuesday, in Plymouth, as they host New Prairie.
