The 6th Grade Riverside Boys A team was in action last night at Wawasee. The Rockets came out shooting hot in the first quarter and took an early 15-4 lead. Once they cooled off, Wawasee was able to battle back some, but the Rockets kept the intensity up and was able to come away with a 32-17 victory. The Rockets were lead in scoring by Davis Wray with 11 points. Roman Snedeker added 7, Easton Strain had 6, Nolan Bales chipped in 4 points, and Brock Jenson and Trey Hall each had 2. Timmy Wakeland did not score, but he was a man on a mission, getting steals and looking up to hit the outlet pass for open layups. Another game of ball movement and balance scoring by the Rockets. They will finish out the semesterĀ next Tuesday, in Plymouth, as they host New Prairie.

The 6th Grade B Team also played Wawasee and came away with another victory, remaining undefeated and winning 22-12. After a slow start by the Rockets B Team, a 3rd quarter of 12 points and pulling away 20 to 6, the Rockets were able to relax and work on their offense and moving the ball. The Rockets were lead in scoring by Dominic Giordano and Connor Schmeidlin, who both tallied 6 points a piece. Michael Sheeley added 4, and Shane Abberger, Fitz Holm, and William Gamble each had 2. The Rockets will also play host to New PrairieĀ next Tuesday.
