A semi roll-over on US 31 at 5th Road north of Plymouth backed up northbound traffic Wednesday morning.
About 7:20 a flatbed semi carrying a load of lumber overturned in the driving lane after a vehicle passed him in the closed passing lane which is under construction. The driver, Richard Fletcher of Tennessee told the County Police Officer he was caught off guard and drifted into the shoulder where he drove into the ditch and the semi overturned.
The semi came to rest on its roof and Richard was able to exit the vehicle with minor injuries. He was treated and released at the scene.
