Last week, the Indiana Senate Republican Caucus announced its legislative agenda for the 2016 session. The agenda outlines some of the Senate Republicans’ top priorities for the 2016 legislative session.
The agenda includes:
- Senate Bill 67: Funding Our Local Roads
- Senate Bill 302: Supporting Economic Development
- Senate Bill 200: Fairness in School Accountability
- Senate Bill 290: Stopping Drug Dealers
- Senate Bills 295 and 309: Supporting Hoosier Veterans
- Senate Bill 308: Property Tax Relief for Farmers
- Senate Bill 152: Medical Malpractice Reform
State Senator Randy Head said, “This legislation will positively impact Hoosiers around the state by helping improve road infrastructure, strengthen penalties for drug dealers and support our schools, veterans and farmers.” The senator also encourages constituents to contact him with their comments on the various bills being considered.
