Tobacco-CessationSaint Joseph Health System (SJHS) is hosting a free seven-week Tobacco Cessation Class at the Marshall County Community Resource Center. The “Freedom from Smoking” class will be held from 6 – 7:30 pm beginning March 3 in the conference room.

Offered through St. Joseph Health System Outreach Services, the class is designed as a resource for community members to eliminate their use of tobacco products.

The class is held every Thursday for seven weeks, and is recommended for individuals who are trying to quit and need a little help along the way.

Led by Tobacco Education Coordinator Latorya Greene, course topics include: understanding addiction to nicotine, learning importance of                                       behavior change, mastering the first few days, mastering obstacles and staying quit and enjoying life

All classes are held 6 – 7:30 pm on Thursdays March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and April 7, 14 at the Marshall County Resource Center Conference Room 510 W. Adams Street in Plymouth.
