MugShot_John MatthewOfficer Les McFarland with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop Saturday morning about 1:40 in the area of US 31 and US 30.

During the traffic stop it was believed that John J. Matthew, 63 of South Bend was intoxicated. He was transported to St. Joe Hospital in Plymouth for a chemical test and then arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, and Operating While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance. The bond for Mr. Matthew is $1,500.00.
