Taxpayers for Argos Schools and Kids (TASK) will present information on the proposed property tax referendum at a meeting on Thursday, March 31st at the Community Life Center at the Argos United Methodist Church at 7 p.m.
The meeting will provide information on the proposed referendum. The referendum will allow the school system to impose a property tax for 7 years at a rate of $.61 per $100 of assessed valuation.
With the additional funding the Argos Community School will be able to continue to offer the current level of programs, staffing and services for students. The programs that the school can offer rely in part on this referendum revenue.

Other meetings being hosted by TASK will be Monday, April 4th at the Argos Fire Department at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 6th at the Argos Town Council at 7:30 and Monday, April 11th at 7 p.m.at the Community Life Center at Argos United Methodist Church.
