The Taste of Culver is a festival that showcases and promotes restaurants that serve the Culver area. It promotes other businesses by bringing residents and visitors into town and is sponsored by the Culver Chamber of Commerce.

The Taste of Culver has expanded to also include area restaurants. From Rochester, the Evergreen, a new restaurant will offer cake truffles, bruschetta and filet medallions while Rochester meats and deli will serve their famous breaded tenderloin sandwiches and most popular bacon & blueberry brats. From Argos, Chubby Buddies will offer pulled pork and coleslaw.

A ticket system will be used to purchase the various tastes with tickets costing $1 each and taste ranging from 1 ticket to 4 ticket. The Taste of Culver is open from 11 till 2 this Saturday.

Also included in the Taste of Culver will be a beer and wine garden and live music by local musicians Chad Van Herk and the Scalliwags.

There is also the Stellar Fest on Saturday in Culver. This is a celebration of Culver’s status as a finalist in Indiana’s Stellar Community Designation Program. Several activities in the park will pertain to the Stellar Fest.
