After being off for nearly three weeks, the Splash Pad in River Park Square in downtown Plymouth is operational again.
Just before school started in Plymouth the motor for the splash pad pump burned up and the original company who provided the motor didn’t have any on hand.
While employees of the Plymouth Park Department tried to fix the motor their hard work and diligence just didn’t pay off and the splash pad was dry for more than 20 days.
A favorite activity, the splash pad has been a great place to cool off during the hot summer weather. With plenty of warm summer weather still ahead, the city is sure the splash pad will be a very busy location in the next few weeks.
