potawatomi-Wildlife-Park_logoTime is running out to get your tickets for the third annual banquet and fundraiser for Potawatomi Wildlife Park.

The annual banquet on March 5th is a major fundraiser for the year and a great time for those in attendance to celebrate Potawatomi Wildlife Park and support its mission!

This year’s banquet will again be held at the Back Forty Banquet Hall in Bourbon.  Doors will open at 5:30 PM with social time, cash bar, hors d’oeuvres and musical entertainment by local musician Jeff Unterbrink.

The evening’s catered dinner includes pot roast, Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green bean casserole, tossed salad, and dessert.

Historically they have alternated the theme between nature and history each year. History is again the theme and coincidently Indiana’s Bicentennial is also this year. Dr. Patrick Furlong, Professor Emeritus- IUSB Dept of History, is the featured speaker. His program is entitled: “The Hoosier Bicentennial: Why We Should Celebrate, 1816-2016”.

Festivities include both a silent and live auction to raise important funding for their mission. They are still accepting auction items if you or businesses are interested.  They also have some table sponsorships available.

Tickets are $35/person. No tickets will be sold at the door so get yours by the February 27th deadline and support Potawatomi  Park!
