Triton High School students in Mrs. Slein’s biology class used pieces of spinach leaves in their lab to learn how photosynthesis works.

The first grade students at Triton Elementary School each brought a bag of 100 pennies to school on the 100th day of school. After completing several activities with the pennies, the classes discussed what they could do with the pennies. The students were excited by the idea of using this money to help someone in the Triton community. Therefore, for the first grade community service project, they donated $70.00 to the Misty Rooney benefit! Teachers are Mrs. Alber, Ms. Smith, and Mrs. Bilinski.
After reading “DEEP SEA DANGER,” a play written by Judy Freed, students in Ms. McFarland’s 6th grade English classes at Triton Elementary School, wrote and acted out their own plays, complete with homemade props. The plays were a unique way to write a problem-solution essay. The students got creative with this assignment!
