The SCILL (Starke County Initiative for Lifelong Learning) Center recently announced the Welding Student-of-the-Month recipient for the month of August 2016 in the Welding Technology Program.
First year student, Kaelon Page attends Triton High School.
Kaelon is the son of Katrina Grimm. He is a member of track team at Triton. His future plan is to go into the workforce after graduating high school. He chose the welding program so he could obtain a job in that field.
When asked “What have you enjoyed the most in the Welding Technology Program?” His response was “The class is mostly hands on.”
The Student-of-the-Month is chosen by Welding Technology instructors, Andy Odle and Rachel Moore, based on the student’s test scores, class participation, attitude, attendance and initiative in the shop.
