Miller's_2016 Volunteer Banquet

Miller’s Assisted Living volunteers were honored Monday evening July 25th in the Oak Hill Café with a delicious homemade meal which was served buffet style. Decorations for the banquet were red, white and blue in keeping with the “All American Volunteer” theme. Activity Director Cindy Flagg opened the evening with prayer and then invited the volunteers and their guests to fill their plates and enjoy their meal.

Following the meal, Activity Director Cindy Flagg went to each volunteer and spoke about their years of service and the different capacities in which the volunteers serve. Anna Corbett, Director of Marketing passed out Certificates of Appreciation while Lorie Sauer, Resident Service Director gave each volunteer a small treat bag of candy and other items that went along with the “All American Volunteer” theme.

Flagg stressed several times throughout the evening that Miller’s programming is enhanced with the help of volunteers. She expressed her gratitude for their hard work and talked about how much the residents enjoy having volunteers taking part in activities. The volunteers gathered to have a group picture taken. Anyone interested in volunteering at Miller’s Assisted Living should call 936-9801 and ask for Cindy Flagg.
