n November of 2014, the Plymouth Police Department received information regarding the manufacturing of methamphetamine at a house in Plymouth. Methamphetamine and an active meth lab were located at 1230 West Harrison Street, a house occupied by James Mason, when a search warrant was executed by Plymouth Police Department Det. Leo Mangus and Indiana State Police Trps. Bikowski and Faulstich.
Tony Scott Wager, James Mason and Matthew Lowry were charged with Dealing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Deal Methamphetamine, Possession of Chemical Reagents or Precursors with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine. Mr. Wagers admitted to being at the house as well as being in possession of items that are necessary for the production of methamphetamine.
On January 7, 2016, Chief Deputy Prosecutor Tami Napier and Mr. Wagers’ attorney, Ed Ruiz, presented evidence and argument to Marshall County Superior Court I Judge Robert Bowen. After hearing arguments and evidence submitted to the court, Judge Bowen sentenced 46 year old Tony Scott Wagers to three years in the Indiana Department of Correction for Possession of Chemical Reagents or Precursors with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance as a Level 5 felony. A Level 5 felony in Indiana carries a possible sentence of one to six years.
Possession of methamphetamine is a criminal offense in Indiana. Likewise, possessing some or a combination of the ingredients to make methamphetamine is a criminal offense in Indiana.
