As part of a class project, Mrs. Amanda Dreibelbis’ fourth grade students at Washington Discovery Academy (WDA) in Plymouth are completing a lesson on random acts of kindness. Mikayla Linse, Munoz Marco and Jesus Zanabria-Solis, (seen from left to right in this photo below) baked cupcakes on Wednesday night at home with their families to give to the Plymouth Police Department.
Thursday the class called the Plymouth Police Department and asked them to stop by for a special surprise. K9 Officer John Weirs and his partner Jax responded and both smiled when they discovered that the surprise was two plates of yummy cupcakes. No word yet on if Jax was able toneak a bite or two, although from one of the pictures captured… it looks like Jax was hopeful.
