warrantCity Police officers served warrants on two individuals Wednesday.

About 3 o’clock Officer Jeremy Enyart was contacted by a Federal ICE Agent who was at 420 South Walnut Street with a subject who had an active warrant through Marshall County for fraud.

After confirming the warrant, 40 year old Xiomara E. Mencias-Duarte was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Identity Deception with a $1,500 cash bond.  ICE also imposed a detainer on her.

27 year old Emilio Ortiz of Plymouth was arrested Wednesday at 103 North Plum Street on an active warrant by Officer Ben McIntyre.   He was held in the Marshall County Jail on a $1,400 cash bond on a charge of Contempt of Court.
