The Weidner School of Inquiry sophomore class attended a career and future focused field trip on Thursday.   Students had a choice to visit one of three worksites based on potential career pathways:

  • St. Joseph Regional Medical Center – Health Science
  • ITAMCO – Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Business
  • Marshall County Courthouse  – Law, Government, Human Services

Students visiting Indiana Technology and Manufacturing Companies had the opportunity to see one of the most extraordinary gear shops in the world! The manufacturer delivers precision-machined components to original equipment manufacturers all over the world.

Co-Director Jennifer Felke said, after students visited the field trip locations, they listened to a representative from Ivy Tech Community College to hear about post high school opportunities as well as dual college credit opportunities at Plymouth High School. She said their field trip was completed with “Amazing Race,” a fun team building activity.
