MugShot_John WoodwardA Westfield Man was arrested following an accident Monday afternoon on U.S. 31.

On Monday afternoon February 15, at approximately 1:30 the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a 911 call of a green minivan that had wrecked in the median of U.S. 31 south of Plymouth Goshen Trail. The caller said the driver was possibly intoxicated.

County Police Officer Jonathan Bryant arrived at the scene and located the driver, 48 year old John Woodward of Westfield, who was highly intoxicated.   Mr. Woodward was taken to the local hospital and then booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15% or more and Resisting Law Enforcement.

His cash bond was set at $4500.00.
