NewsSongbirds of Northern Indiana will host a celebration of their 10th year in service on Friday, April 29th at the Conservation Club House in Plymouth. The event is a wine tasting fundraiser from 4:30 until 8 p.m.

The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise funds for a building to rehabilitate America’s backyard birds; migratory, woodland and urban.

No government agency funds or reimburses the local group for the cost of rehabilitating.    The funds raised from this fundraiser will help care for the injured birds brought in with 80% of them being returned to their life of freedom.

Songbirds of Northern Indiana also educates the public about what small birds do for us and the planet, as well as offer ways to avoid creating a wild bird crisis.

Tickets are $5 each at the door, and for every case ordered Songbirds of Northern Indiana will receive 15% of the proceeds donated.

Tickets are available on their website via PayPal, at the door, or call Pat at 574-936-5140
