The BioArt classes at the Weidner School of Inquiry in Plymouth High School recently presented Mrs. Shirley Gidley with a $1,400.00 donation for the Cancer Association of Marshall County from their Clay for Cancer night in March.
WSOI Bio Art freshmen designed and sold their clay pieces to raise money for this local organization. The students also researched different types of cancers and did a gallery walk of group presentations about the various cancers. A total of close to $3,000.00 has been raised for the Cancer Association of Marshall County from this student driven fundraiser.
This was the 3rd Annual Clay for Cancer night that has been held at the Weidner School Of Inquiry at Plymouth High School.
