The MCCO is made up of instrumental musicians of various ages, musical skill-levels and religious denominations.  The goal of the Marshall County Church Orchestra is to spread the message of Christ through the musicians’ love music.  The orchestra performs throughout the year at many different venues including churches, nursing and assisted living facilities, fairs and festivals, farmer’s market, parks and private parties.  They play a variety of classical, hymns, popular, movie, Broadway and Patriotic music.

The MCCO does not ask for money however, they will accept donations and free will offerings at their performances.  Their performance year ends in November when they perform a “Classical Christmas” concert which is considered to be a grand “kick off” to the Christmas Season.

The Marshall County Church Orchestra is always accepting new members.  Whether you play on a daily basis or haven’t played since high school the MCCO will welcome you to their membership.  If you are interested in joining or if you would like to book the orchestra for a concert you may call Don Harness at 574-936-7357 for information.  Continue to read the Pilot News for an upcoming schedule of the Marshall County Church Orchestra’s 2017 musical season.
