Moral Reconation Graduation

CommunityCorrections_MRT graduation march2017Monday, March 6th was a day of celebration for Robert Bowen II and David Schutz as they were honored by fellow classmates and invited family members for completing Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) which was part of their community supervision plan.

CommunityCorrections_Scott Lewis MRTScott Lewis was also recently presented his certificate for completing MRT while incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail. Marshall County Community Corrections through a grant from the Indiana Department of Correction provides MRT programming at the County Jail.

As part of community supervision, Marshall County Community Corrections provides programs such as Moral Reconation Therapy to assist clients to reduce their criminal thinking and attitudes in an effort to reduce recidivism and provide our clients the building blocks they need to succeed.

MRT is a cognitive-behavioral counseling program that combines education, group and individual counseling, and structured exercises designed to foster moral development in treatment-resistant clients.
