On Saturday March 25, at approximately 9:20 officers with the Marshall County Police Department and Plymouth Police and Marshall County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 700 West Garro Apt. 3. Three people were taken into custody for various drug offenses.
Anthony Banks – HTV-life, Maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a syringe. He was held on a $1500.00 cash bond.
Elysia Bailey- Possession of Methamphetamine, visiting a common nuisance. Held on a $3000.00 cash bond.
Steven Richie- visiting a common nuisance. held on a $1000.00 cash bond.
Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
