Tiffany Hughes and Edward Orr Arrested for Counterfeiting

On Monday, April 10, the Plymouth Police Department received a report from Low Bob’s Express on North Michigan Street regarding a counterfeit $100.00 bill that had been presented to purchase items the day before. The Low Bob’s employee recognized the bill to be counterfeit and kept it as the customers left.

An investigation including the observation of surveillance video resulted in identification of the suspects. The investigation also revealed that the suspects had been at the Dollar General Store on North Michigan Street a few minutes earlier and attempted to purchase items using the counterfeit bill.

MugShot_Orr, Edward33 year old Edward Orr of the 2500 block of North Michigan Street took the bill from the employee at Dollar General after he was advised that it was not a valid bill.

MugShot_Hughes, TiffanyOrr located at the Economy Inn on the afternoon of April 11 along with 25 year old Tiffany Hughes also of the 2500 North Michigan Street address.   The pair was lodged at the Marshall County Jail with cash bonds set at $1,500.00 cash.
