2017 Session Ends with Passage of Major Bills

Randy HeadThe Indiana General Assembly has adjourned, concluding the 2017 legislative session.

IN Senator Randy Head said, “In addition to passing our state’s next two-year budget and a sustainable, long-term road funding plan, I highlighted some of the major bills lawmakers passed this year.”

Seantor Head said, “Senate Enrolled Act 1, which I authored, fixes the unintended consequences of Indiana’s laws on e-liquid manufacturing by eliminating the rules that created unfair restrictions on competition and bringing us into compliance with federal rules.”

He closed his comments by saying, “I am proud of the work my fellow lawmakers and I accomplished this session. It is my hope that these bills will continue to make Indiana a great place to live, work, and raise a family.”
