autopsy_reportMarshall County Coroner John Grolich released autopsy results for the two young boys that died in a tragic accident on Sunday afternoon southeast of Argos.

13 year old Mahlon Martin and his 12 year old bother Kenneth had been playing in and around the Redinger Ditch on the family’s farm on Gumwood Road when they ended up in the water.  Both were unresponsive and not breathing when they were pulled from the ditch.

Autopsies conducted Tuesday in Rochester showed the boys died from asphyxiation due to drowning.  Their deaths have been ruled accidental.
