State Road 23 in Saint Joseph County will be closed between Industrial Parkway in North Liberty and Tyler Road in Walkerton beginning Monday, July 17 and running through Tuesday, July 18. Crews will perform a chip seal and fog seal operation to preserve the road surface.
Please note: this project is dependent on dry weather and may be delayed if conditions aren’t ideal.
State road detours must be along state-maintained roadways only. During working hours, drivers wishing to travel south on State Road 23 will be detoured west on State Road 4, southeast on State Road 104, east on U.S. 6 and back to State Road 23. Drivers wishing to travel north on State Road 23 will be detoured west on U.S. 6, northwest on State Road 104, east of State Road 4 and back to State Road 23.
