BECOME A CITIZEN SCIENTISTFREE HOOSIER RIVER WATCH WORKSHOP

Soil & WaterMarshall County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is hosting a FREE Hoosier River Watch workshop on July 22.  Hoosier River Watch is a program of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Office of Water Quality, Watershed Assessment and Planning Branch. The program increases public awareness of water quality issues and concerns by training volunteers to monitor local streams.  The workshop consists of indoor and outdoor instruction. Participants should bring a sack lunch and waders or shoes that can get wet.  The workshop begins at 8:30 am at the SWCD office, 2903 Gary Drive, Plymouth and concludes at 4:00 pm.  Registration is required in order to have enough training manuals for everyone.
