Future Kindergarteners and their parents will have the opportunity to visit the Triton Elementary School Kindergarten classrooms from 6:00-6:30pm. At 6:30 pm, students and their parents will meet up in the cafeteria, at which time, the students will make their way to the specials areas with an assigned teacher. From 6:30-7:30pm, students will rotate from special to special (Art, PE, Music, Library, Computer Lab, and a bus) to get a taste of the many fun activities they will get to be a part of when they attend our school. During this time, parents will receive a lot of information to prepare them for their child’s first year of school. This time is meant to help both parents and children prepare for the upcoming transition, quiet fears, and answer any questions they may have as it relates to our school or kindergarten in particular.
If you know school age child who did not attend a pre-school, please let them know about this informational session. You are welcome to attend this session with no obligation of sending your child. This is great information to have to ensure you are making the best decision possible for your child and family. If you have any questions concerning this event or any information about Triton Elementary School, please do not hesitate to call the Triton Elementary School office at 574-342-2355.
