Plymouth Color Logo2014Plymouth City Engineer Rick Gaul presented the Board of Public Works and Safety with a list of spring street projects on Monday.

These projects are being funded from last year’s Community Crossing Grant the city received.  That grant is a 50/50 match between the state and the city.

Micro-surface projects being completed this spring are Oak Drive from State Road 17 to US 30, Oakhill Avenue from the city limits to South Michigan Street and Jefferson Street from Oak Drive to Fifth Street.

Mill and fill street projects include Jefferson Street from the Yellow River Bridge to Kingston; PIDCO Drive from Jim Neu to Oak Drive and Markley Drive from Shamrock to Western Avenue.  Existing sidewalk curb ramps will be updated at the corners but no additional sidewalk work will be included in these projects.
