Hanson Arrested by City Police for OWI

OWI_Drinking and DrivingA traffic stop by Plymouth Police Officer Matt Emenhiser on Wednesday night ended with a Plymouth man being arrested for OWI.

About 8:45 Officer Emenhiser stopped a vehicle at Washington and Walnut Streets.  During the investigation it was learned that 53 year old Bryan D. Hanson of West Washington Street was Operating the vehicle While Intoxicated.

Hanson was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held for the OWI and OWI Endangering with a $1,500 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
