Fatal bicycle accident        On Friday June 9th,  just before 5 P.M. the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call of a young male subject who had fallen from a bicycle at the Inwood Mobile Home Park, located on Hawthorn Road, just south of U.S. 30 and east of Plymouth.

The original report was that the 13 year old male subject had a serious head injury from the incident.  Initial information at the scene was that the male apparently fell from the bicycle, striking his head on the ground near part of the driveway of the park.

The young teen was transported from the scene by helicopter, but he was later pronounced dead at Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital at 6:40 P.M.

Officers from the Marshall County Police Department assisted at the scene and are continuing to investigate the incident.

The Marshall County Police Department was assisted by the Bourbon Police Department, Plymouth Fire and EMS, and Lutheran Air at the scene of the incident.

Further investigation is also pending through the Marshall County Coroner’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
