Search_WarrantAfter a lengthy investigation by the Bremen Police Department a search warrant was issued and served at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Perkin’s residents at 230 East North Street in Bremen.  Officers from the Bremen Police Department and the Marshall County Drug Task Force served the warrant and located multiple items including ledgers, scales, clear plastic baggies of methamphetamine ready for distribution, syringes and multiple items indicating dealing in meth.

Five individuals were arrested in the sting: Kevin Perkins was booked in the Marshall County Jail for Dealing Methamphetamine a level 4 felony, Unlawful Possession of Syringe a level 6 felony, Theft a level 6 felony, Possession of Meth a level 6 felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance a level 6 felony, Dumping Controlled Substance Waste a level 6 felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance a level 6 felony.

Adriana Halstead was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe a level 6 felony, Maintaining a Common Nuisance a level 6 felony, Possession of Meth a level 6 felony and Possession of Paraphernalia a class A misdemeanor.

Tiphani Bowen Hensel was arrested for Possession of Meth a level  6 felony, Possession of Paraphernalia a class A misdemeanor, Visiting a Common Nuisance a level 6 felony and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe a level 6 felony.

Mark Hensel was booked into the County Jail for Possession of Meth a level 6 felony, Possession of Paraphernalia a class A misdemeanor, Visiting a Common Nuisance a level 6 felony and Unlawful Possession of a Syringe a level 6 felony.

Shai Valarie Hutching was arrested for Possession of Meth a level 6 felony, Possession of Paraphernalia a class A misdemeanor, Visiting a Common Nuisance a level 6 felony and Unlawful Possession of s Syringe a level 6 felony.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
